The capacity building program on entrepreneurship promotion and mentoring of officials and iti faculty of Nagaland approach is meant to strengthen the quality of mentoring official to implement and ensure it fosters sustainable results by building relevant capacities. The institute generally provides capacity development support for five-day program was designed to transform Nagaland’s government officials and Industrial Training Institute (ITI) faculty into master mentors and Employment Officer. By equipping these professionals with advanced mentoring skills, the initiative aims to foster an entrepreneurial mindset among the state's youth and guide them toward sustainable self-employment entrepreneurship development program contribute towards the development of successful entrepreneurs who establish and manage sustainable businesses, creating job opportunities and economic growth. It plays a vital role in nurturing entrepreneurial talent and fostering the growth of successful businesses. By providing participants with the necessary skills, resources, and networking opportunities. The program look forward to contribute entrepreneurial ecosystem in the state of Nagaland and having a look into the challenges faced in the field of employment, Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship in collaboration with Directorate of Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Kohima (Govt. of Nagaland) had worked for transformation of mentoring in the state.

The inauguration ceremony of the Capacity Building Program on Entrepreneurship Promotion and Mentoring of Officials and ITI Faculty of Nagaland was held at Entrepreneurship Development Centre Kohima Nagaland from 20^th April 2026- 15th May 2026. The program inaurgurated by Shri. Savio Visa, Director of Employment Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt. of Nagaland as the Guest of Honour of the programme and encourages the officers to develop entrepreneurial skills and mentoring skill through the programme. He also motivated the participants to enhance their knowledge in the field of supporting system in formulating business plans and conducting feasibility assessments and focus on their goals in mentoring the young minds of the students. The welcome address was delivered by Shri. Prasanta Goswami, Associate Faculty Member IIE, while Mr. Sapulu Krocha Senior Executive,IIE chair the programme.
